L-type gantry crane installation process in Bangladesh steel coil factory
In 2019, we designed and produced a batch of L-shaped gantry cranes for a steel coil factory in Bangladesh, with lifting capacities of 5 tons and 10 tons. During the customer’s installation process, our engineers were invited to Bangladesh to provide installation guidance to the customer.
Under normal circumstances, we will conduct a general design based on the information provided by the customer at the beginning of the design, and provide the customer with installation instructions and installation videos. During the actual installation process, you need to pay attention to the following points:
- Choose a suitable installation location: Consider factors such as space requirements for equipment operation, space for horizontal and vertical movement, etc.
- The installation location should be a flat, solid, obstacle-free ground, and the working range and height of the gantry crane need to be taken into consideration.
- Structural installation: Carry out unit assembly and overall installation in accordance with the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer, ensuring that the connections of each component are firm and well matched, and necessary corrections and adjustments are made.
- Properly wire power and control systems to ensure the reliability and safety of the electrical system.
- System debugging: According to the manufacturer’s instructions, debug each system, including the lifting mechanism, moving mechanism, limit device, safety protection device, etc., to ensure that it functions normally, is flexible and reliable.
- Carry out load testing during the commissioning process to verify the lifting capacity and stability, and ensure that the installation and use of the spreader comply with relevant standards and specifications.
- Operation training and safety awareness: Provide necessary training to operators to familiarize them with the operation methods and safety precautions of the equipment, and strengthen the cultivation of safety awareness.
- When installing or dismantling, a warning area should be demarcated in advance and obstacles should be cleared to prevent obstacles from interfering with the work during the work process.
